Krishna takes him aside and explains to him (in what is known as the Bhagavad Gita) all about dharma (our duty) and human nature and the like. An easy focus for your paper would be to associate dharma with the caste system. (Although in all fairness, at the time the Mahabarata was written, India had yet to develop the caste system and was still in an earlier system called varna, but I digress.)
