Q. My OS is XP SP3.And Quick Launch in the Taskbar is a very helpful to launch applications by just a click.Please tell me how to add or remove icon to the Quick Launch.

A. 1) make sure the bar area is not locked (the one besides the start button). To ensure this, right click on the bar area close to where the Quick Launch should be. There should be a check (taskbar is locked) or no check (taskbar is unlocked). 2) if you don't have Quicklaunch bar, right click anywhere further and choose Toolbars -> Quicklaunch. A Quicklaunch taskbar will appear. 3) First, you go to Start -> All Programs and choose the programs you want to be in Quicklaunch. Then you right-click on it and Send to -> Desktop. 4) From the Desktop, you drag the desktop to the Quicklaunch bar. Just dragging the programs from the All Programs means you are moving them and not copying them. You will notice the programs disappear from the All… [cont.]
